The Warm Up Boulder offers great rock, cooler temps, short approach and good landings for the most part. It is directly above (North) of the location icon, closest to the road and river. Lots of eliminates and traversing options on the SW face. There are two more boulders within this vicinity (can't remember their names). One on the far west edge of the talus field right where the river turns from running south to west. The other boulder is between that one and the Warm Up boulder.
Park at the large pull out on the north side of the road just after the passing lane appears for up-bound traffic. Cross the road (south) and trend down canyon to an obvious trail that descends to the creek. After crossing the log you will be about 50' east of the Warm Up boulder. *2011 Flooding caused the logs to cross on to wash out. This crossing will still go, but as of 8/27 was still not in. If you walk up canyon to where the river is shaded by trees you will find a few places to cross and a trail which heads west (down canyon) to the talus field. Upon reaching the edge of the talus you will be right above the Warm Up boulder.
