Directions

From Bishop, drive west on West Line Street (168) until you reach Buttermilk Road. Turn (right) onto Buttermilk road. Drive 3.4 miles until you see large boulders on your right, the Peabodys. These and the surrounding boulders represent the main area of the Buttermilks. Park on the right side of the road, or continue up past a cattle guard and turn right immediately after to reach the upper parking and the road that takes you to Get Carter and the Pollen Grains.
